Income-qualified households may get an additional grant from HeatSmart CNY to help afford the cost of installing heat pumps.
We have increased the amount of the grants available!
There are a limited number available and they are only available through our partner contractors. The income limits are the same as the Assisted Home Performance income limits (80% of area median income).
Grants are now available for:
- Cold Climate Air Source Heat Pump: $5,000 per home (up from $2,000)
- Heat Pump Water Heaters: $750 per home (up from $350)
- Geothermal Heat Pumps: $7,500
- This rebate has remained the same, but National Grid is temporarily increasing their rebate as well. Contact us or ask your installer for more information.
